Early Music Workshops

Catacoustic is hosting an early music workshop for community members to learn the recorder and viola da gamba. (Limited space is available for viol.) All playing levels are invited to attend, from the beginner to the advanced player. AND, instruments are available for people to use at the workshop!!! Cost: $35, $20 with student ID, $20 audit/observe

Faculty:
Annalisa Pappano, viola da gamba
James Lambert, viola da gamba
Rob Turner, flute and recorder
Rod Stucky, lute and Renaissance guitar
There will be another recorder teacher, if there are enough participants.

Class format:
Technique class/Topics from teacher
Masterclass (similar to private lesson – students, bring your questions & a prepared piece or excerpt)
Consort (ensemble) class

Registration:
$50 per participant (Registration deadline is 10/20)
All levels are welcome, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Rental viols are available.
